MoPOP Pop Conference
I'm thrilled to share that I'll be presenting at this year's MoPOP Pop Conference this April 29th, 2018 in Seattle! The title of this year's conference, WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE? MUSIC AND GENDER, reflects some of the important issues that will be touched on regarding gender, race, intersectionality, and equitable media representation.
My presentation is titled, "Representation Matters: Information Professionals as Stewards of a More Equitable Music Canonization," which you can read more about here.
